I left my partially used bleach bottle in the cabin, along with a bottle of ammonia. It can get pretty cold up there into the negatives. As they were not totally full, will they break open if they freeze? Anyone have this happen?

Both will freeze around 15 degrees Fahrenheit. If the bottles have enough liquid in them to expand beyond the capacity of the container to hold them, you will probably want to get them before they thaw.
Does the temp inside where they are stored actually get down to zero? I hope there aren't any other liquids inside the cabin.
No, no other liquids. Both bottles should be 1/4 empty. I'm hoping they would expand. It will be same temp as outside.
It's not so much as a rupturing of the container you should be concerned with.. the density of the caps and bottle themselves differ. They expand and contract at different rates and will work themselves off the bottle with a constant thaw and freeze cycle. Hopefully they're not on their sides. The liquid would pop the tops off for sure.
Use cautioun when you go in. That can create a poisonous gas.
Yes, if both go it could be trouble, but Im not going up until thaw out, last week of April. Not sure what to do if they both break or leak. The clorox might be separate. I think I left some ammonia up last year with no issues. If it leaks it could get into some of the wood. Ugh. But I imagine it will mostly off-gas as it can get up to 60 degrees in the AMs by late April.
My T.P. wheeling and dealing feedback is here.
Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one, and it stinks more than mine.
Yo Homie, That my chainsaw ?

I may test out a bottle of 1/4 empty bleach down here before I go up. I know the clorox will stick around as a smell, but I think I did leave a bottle of amonia last winter with no issue, not sure. Not even sure if my respirator would block the mixed chemical if they did mix. I will bring a fan as well I guess.
