    Angry Glass cutting

I have never done anything glass before besides getting cut. I needed to cut 2 simple pieces 8 3/4" X 42". I'll be a son of a bitch I ended up with about 6" of use able glass!!! I ended up buying 2 sheets of "clear replacement glass" from HD and made a message of broken glass.

What the hell is the trick/proper way of cutting glass and what kind should I use for shelves in a china hutch? I don't know if its my scoring, the glass, or my glass cutter?

One pass with the cutter. Use clamps to hold the guide in place. Snap at the edge of the work bench. Throw $75 mirror away due to breakage. Call edge water glass, have them cut you a mirror for $85-150.

    My experience.

Another recommendation for Superior DG. Great guy, and knows his glass.

A write up wouldn't be bad though, as this is the DIY section.
