    Default Who's the best AK smith in the area?

    Looking for someone in the Co/Spgs, Woodland Park area to do some work on my AK.

    Hickman Rifles in the Springs. Built my kit for me, turned out very nice. Decent prices too.

    Had him do some work for me a few years ago. Did not turn out very nice.

    I'm sure you could do the fitting yourself. You have been around enough AK's for long enough, lol....but the park jobs.....yeck! Yeah, best to leave that to professionals. I found a machine shop out of town a few miles that does it for CHEAP.
