Every pronghorn season that whole track looks like a pumpkin patch from all the orange of hunters clothing. You are only supposed to park in the designated areas and when those are full the hunting area is considered full. Hunters park up and down Peyton Highway and Squirrel Creek Road making it a place that is one of the most hunted properties in Colorado per square acre.
There are some coyotes and rabbits. Most of the coyotes are pretty deep in close to the private property to the south in the center part of the wildlife are. They hide out in the sand hills on the south side. They are huntable but there will be a lot of walking involved.
