Default Thank you for calling Dillon Precision. There are currently 17 callers ahead of you..

Having a really weird problem with my new Dillon 1200 trimmer - specifically if I put the die in the only place where it will actually contact a case then it re-sizes the neck to horrible dimensions that no longer match a case gauge - so I decided to call and see if they could help me out. Got the message that I was 18th in line - hung on for about 45 minutes and then had to go do something else. Never moved in the queue..

I love Dillon and their CS is awesome, but I am guessing that Santa brought a whole bunch of people new Dillon toys for Christmas.. Oh well, try again tomorrow.
What is my joy if all hands, even the unclean, can reach into it? What is my wisdom, if even the fools can dictate to me? What is my freedom, if all creatures, even the botched and impotent, are my masters? What is my life, if I am but to bow, to agree and to obey?

When I clicked on this I expected a bitch fest...

It's damn nice to see someone that isn't pissed off that they weren't put ahead of everyone else.

If I could I would shake your hand.

Sent from my teepee using smoke signals.

Readjust the die for less contact on the shell plate. I had to dick around with mine 3-4 x before it was right. I had the same results as you, what a head pounder. The finished case - case gauge was no where near in spec. Once i stepped back for a day or two, it was easier to set up.
Slightly OT, i ran in to an issue with the die coming loose, AFTER i spent more time than i wanted to get it right. I used one of the dillon die locking nuts under the tool head along with one on top. That trimmer doesn't move , finally.
