My two Baofeng UV5RA radios came in yesterday.
Charged them up and programmed in a couple of Colorado Springs repeaters.
Only thing I heard was a morse ID every half hour from one of them (145.130 Colorado Connection).
I'll hook up the data cable and program some more freqs in this weekend.
Just need to take the test.

Okay so I broke open the ARRL book. 95% of this is normal/easy stuff. But I have to memorize what freq. bands are available by what size antenna and what their silly rules are.. Blah.
What emission modes are permitted in the mode-restricted sub-bands at 50.0 to 50.1 MHz and 144.0 to 144.1 MHz?

Basically it had all the questions...and highlighted the "KEY WORD(s)" to remind you of the answer. IE: "Mode Restricted" = "CW Only"
It had some explanation part as well but I just skimmed over that stuff.
