I just put this study guide on my iPad: http://www.kb6nu.com/wp-content/uplo...tudy_Guide.pdf

Going to make some flash cards this weekend from it for the study questions.

I can pick up the rules and regs pretty quickly, its the electrical stuff that I need to study.

I think I saw a couple of you there.

Passed tech and general this morning. Tried extra but I hadn't studied at all and barely got over half.

Asmo, was that you with the green AR logo shirt? Saw you when you were leaving if so... I was in the front with my Larue hat.

Guess I should unpack my baofeng now...

That was me.. Someone else from here was in the back of the room when I got there - at least I think it was them, they were gone before I finished.

    Congrats on passing!

It was interesting - they didn't have enough test PCs for everyone that showed up this morning, and some guys had to wait for a spot. The volunteers were talking about how the last testing session was packed, but this one was the most people they had ever seen. It seems like ham interest has been on the "decline" for a while, but I'm wondering if the large number of new gun owners and the popularity of "prepper" shows and everything is causing a resurgence of interest.

Congrats to the new hams. Possibly by Wednesday-Friday your new callsigns should be posted on the FCC site.
