I couldn't tell you. It is one of the 7 channels I have programmed in, and by far the most active.

I'm about half way through studying for technician. If I started going through the general flashcards instead, am I likely to miss technician level info?

You'd miss items in the technician test. General doesn't contain all the information from tech. Frequency ranges and such.

Updated image files for the Baofeng and the Wouxun.. These have W0CRA (Colorado Repeater Assc) and W0TX (Denver Radio Club) programmed in for both 2M and 70cm. These were the two most popular repeaters/groups when I scanned for the last 2 weeks (with a real scanner not a HT).
I also included the GMRS/FRS frequencies and the NOAA alerts. This should get anyone in the Denver metro up and running quickly. Just load these into your radio and you should be good to go. I have tried to confirm on all freqs in there but a typo may have happened so double check anything that doesnt seem to work right.

    For the Baofeng UV-5R: http://caliban.dreamscope.com/chance...S_20140303.img
    For the Wouxun KG-UV6: http://caliban.dreamscope.com/chance...S_20140303.img

    Enjoy.

PS. Last time I put up some files someone decided they would try to mirror my whole site. They were banned and still are. Caliban is a tiny little machine using spare bandwidth. Be gentle.

    Thanks for the file, asmo!

I made my first contact on HAM tonight with the Colorado QRP club. Happy to see the cheap-o Baofeng works well.

It's from ar15.com on echo link so you can do it from a computer, iPhone app, or a repeater with echo link on it. Every Friday at 630 our time.

Okay, I no longer have an account on that site, I'll find the Echolink node for next time.

    EDIT:
    So info I found is
Echolink Conference *DCF-ARC* ------- I added this to my favorites in Echolink.
