Default Mounting a radio in the old truck

How do I go about mounting a new radio in the beast and make it look decent? Here is the hole. 1978 F250

Any place that sells sterios sells trim kits. A generic one will do fine. They might list your truck if you go to crutchfield.com and use their search tools.

I made a gauge bezel out of aluminum once and it turned out great!

After looking at what is left of your dash and what is available out there I would use and aluminum plate for the opening and cut a din size hole in it. Mount radio and make sure you use a rear support. Are there already holes in the doors? This should be an afternoon job.

You need a modern radio with a DIN chassis and mount.
    A 2cnd +1 for Crutchfield.

If you don't smoke you can fit one of the smaller Cobra CB's in the cutout if you ditch the ashtray.............
