Since this range is so close to home, I couldn't resist checking them out despite the high cost. The staff was very friendly and the facility was nice. The air filtration system worked well but there was only one other person shooting while I was there so it wasn't being taxed very hard. Since they weren't busy, they said we could shoot as long as we wanted.

I was pissed about the $10 registration fee to take their range safety test. This fee was not advertised on their website, Facebook page or listed on the wall behind the counter. None of their pricing is listed for that matter. It's a one time fee, but having to spend $10 so I have the privilege of spending more money is irritating. I haven't had to pay a registration at the other ranges I have visited.

That is five minutes away from me! Makes the high price worth it just in gas savings, will have to go check it out, maybe tomorrow.

    Just got back from there.
I was assured that steel case was ok as long as it was collected by the shooter.
Range was decent, target carriers move quick.
They could really benefit from some acoustic panels or something. The resonating gunfire worked it's way through my doubled up hearing protection pretty quick.
I got hit with some kind of first time registration fee, and I didn't really pay attention to what the total was.
Don't think I would ever want to give up shooting with my good buddy on this forum at his private range, but for a quick drop in to test out a gun, it will do.
And last but not least......If I hit the lights right, it is less than a minute from work!

Considering that there are no other indoor ranges in the area, I can see why they are charging what they are charging.

The ventilation and lighting are much better than the other local Denver ranges I've been to. Lots of space behind shooters, so it was nice to step back from the line when I wanted to. I avoid any indoor range on a weekend, but if you are already in that area of Broomfield on a week day, it didn't seem busy to me and no one mentioned anything about the hour being up while I was there. The facility seemed more spa like than like a typical indoor range. The RO was a nice gentleman who kept busy sweeping brass for those of us who wanted it.

I wouldn't give up my CRC membership, but Shoot Indoors in Broomfield is much better than the other alternatives within 30 minutes of my house.

Practice your fast moves and dodging skills.................

I will have to check this place out soon, looks like a nice facility, the range prices are high, but no higher than BLUECORE. I like to sight in rifles before going out to the open ranges, at 25 yards is kind of short but to me this places is like 5 minutes away just down the street for me.
"The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles. --Jeff Cooper"

    Update...
Tula is no go because of steel core, nice range. If the bullet sticks to the magnet, cant shoot it. Ten 25 yards lane. $22 per person, second person $16 and third, up to 3 people per lane. Have to sign release form, pass a knowledge test then pay $10 as first time shooter. Membership available.

IMO, a CCW permit should clear you for that "knowledge test" BS.

I'll be glad if that range ever gets built here in Parker, but I'm not holding my breath. They got a big hole dug and came to a screeching halt.
