Ahh I'd highly suggest spyderco. I got a southard. Stopped looking at knives.

Is suggest high edge retention. But I am a steel snob.

Yeah the Manix is still in the running. That Southard looks legit, but at $250 on bladehq.com, it's a bit out of my price range.

Another thing worth noting was the flipper/speedsafe of the ZT vs. The plane hole of the Manix. The flipper wins that argument for me.

Yeah the size of it is a huge plus, as the other three ZT knives I handled were just a bit big for EDC in my opinion.

I watched a YouTube review where the reviewer was comparing the 0566 to the Griptilian in sizing. Great size for carry.

I got a quote from kershawguy.com for $125 shipped on the Zero Tolerance, so i'll be ordering one on Friday. That is a great price, the next cheapest I found it for was $144 + shipping.

Yeah I think it will serve me well, I've read good things about Elmax. All the research I've done in the last week or so, I have a feeling this won't be the last higher end Knife I purchase, and the Manix will be next.

Lol, I've been through more guns than I care to think about (pretty much owned every model of Glock, at one time or another). Now that I'm married with a baby, my gun collection is on hold, and the knife thing seems more realistic financially lol.

Sharp things can be fun! They don't go boom, but still fun. Sold most of my knives for diapers. Oh well!
