Thanks for the replies. Just got back from The Shootist. Not a bad range at all. Thanks again.
The people should not fear their government; the government should fear it's people.
I like the shootist, they usually have a decent supply of ammo at reasonable prices. It can get a little loud, but I can just add ear plugs under my earmuffs.
I've only been to the Shootist and Green Mountain Family Shooting Center.
Green Mountain is MUCH cleaner, and MUCH brighter, but you can't do mag dumps and it only has 15 meters for pistol (they do have an in door 100 yard rifle range though).

go to silver bullet. really not that far from downtown... 38th and Harlan streets...
It seems to me that a lot of the indoor ranges in Denver have a flat fee for shooting, no time limit. I'd much rather be able to buy 30 minutes and get in and out. I've been at Firing line waiting for people to leave, when they stop, come out, chat, leave a lane empty for 15 minutes. People don't do that when they have a time limit.
Firing line just asks about your ammo, Green Mountian checks it, so I don't think you can even preload your mags.
I'll stop buying black rifles when my wife stops buying black shoes.
Yeah you can. They just want to see that you aren't shooting non-jacketed, lead stuff. All you need is to show them the box of ammo. Just save a box of WWB and throw whatever you want into it. I've never had them actually open it to see the rounds unless it was something obscure that they weren't familiar with.
