Do you get bored shooting .22s?
Several years ago I put together a nice Ruger 10/22. Aftermarket barrel, stock, installed some Volquartsen trigger parts which lightened up the trigger nicely, scope, etc. It shoots pretty well; about .35" or so at 50 yards. The problem is, I never shoot the damn thing. I'll usually bring a .22 along when I go to the range (I also have a Ruger MkII target pistol) but I never get around to shooting them. After shooting the larger calibers at 100 to 300 yards, shooting a rifle at 50 yards seems kind of boring. I guess I could shoot the .22 at 100 yards, but I'd rather just use the AR or R700s.
Anyone else feel this way?
(Mods: I didn't put this in the rimfire section because it seems (to me, at least
) like more of a "general discussion" thread. I'm not asking any specific questions on what parts to use, etc.)
