    I'm resurrecting this thread in hopes of some additional sources. I know hospitals throw out all kinds of stuff that is past its expiration. You'd think you'd be able to find it for sale somewhere, but it's pretty tough.

    There is a website that is a store where everything they sell can be purchased with a Flex Spending Account card. You'll have to Google it, but we picked up about $200 with off medical and toiletry stuff last year. They don't have heavy duty stuff like tourniquets or chest seals, but we got a ton of different sizes gauze, wraps, and things like contact solution.

    i was going to say that lol..........also used to buy expired stuff sold "for training" through some online sources. It was years ago but http://www.shopmedvet.com/ used to have stuff like cases of expired sutures for practice use.
