Doesn't seem like anyone was harmed, lessons learned they're not likely to forget, seems like a good thing in hindsight...

Luckily everything turned out ok.
You wouldn't believe how hard it was to convince my X that yes, she and the kids need winter jackets when driving in the winter...my house is at 9,000ft. Some people just don't get it until something happens.

I don't venture out of town without my pack, let alone into the mountains. You never know what's going to happen and not being prepared is just tempting fate.
The biggest issue is the no gas.

Yes, I have done stupid stuff that could have resulted in my death.
I have tried to make sure that I don't continue to tempt darwin.
