What shooting sticks for Raton and Steel Safari?

I have an old camera tripod I adapted into some pseudo-sticks, but they are lacking in a number of areas. What do you guys like?

I just got some Stoney Points from Sportsman's for like $15! I was thinking maybe 2 sets for front & rear might work well.
Last year I used collapsible ski poles with Voile rubber straps, super goofy looking, but I did pretty good on stage 7...

You rocked stage 7 with those ski poles last year!

I'm using Stoney Points also. Did manage to snap the plastic hinge on a set, heavy rifle, legs slid... Put a piece of para-cord between the legs to keep that from happening again.

I abandoned my Stoney Point sticks for a Precision Rifle Solutions tripod set up (medium size) a few years back and haven't touched the sticks since. Mike K lets me (us) run the tripod at the SRM b/c we keep one leg up. Of course at the SS - anyting goes so long as you pack it with you every day.

I was looking at the Stoney Points as well because of the flexability and being able to "weave" them into the bipod. I have a set of cheapo ones from a while back I had bought for hunting I'm going to give a try @ Raton this weekend, but don't have much faith in them with the flat edges of the AICS chassis but we'll see I guess. If it doesn't work I'll be looking into the PRS Tripod that Pike10 is using. I've got to get something figured out and in practice before the SHC and Steel Safari as well.

Stoney Points is what I use as well. The triple jointed ones or whatever they are called. Though some of the tripods a few folks have ran down there look pretty nice.

Like Pike10 I use a tri-pod. I got a screaming deal on a CF version. Not too heavy but sturdy.
