Beer is the best way to store water. They did it in the old days!
I was thinking about my homebrew equipment for this, use my big funnel I use to get stuff into carboys and line it with a muslin grain sock. Plus, homebrewing in a SHTF scenario is good because you boil the water for an hour or more and, hops and alcohol are anti-spoiling agents.![]()
Getting them from Brew Hut? I tried a few times to plant them but my canine digging machine always found them and tore them up. Hop pellets are better for long term storage anyway.
Can we grow hops here in Colorado?

Ummmm coffee filters? Kinda small, but they would work well... In fact, that is specifically what they are made for.
