Default Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Training from the RTD

    http://www.rtd-denver.com/CERT.shtml

This was brought to my attention at work. Has anyone done this? I am thinking of taking the August class. I think it would be a good way to get some insight as I am not a LEO. Not sure how valuable it will be. 3 Saturdays is kinda a bummer.

Here is FEMA's site for other classes in the area.

Son in law and I did this 4-5 yrs ago through Arapahoe County Sheriff's Dept. Good entry level program and CERT program does some disaster drills during the year to practice and further training.
