That gun will work. I hunted twice in OK near Rush Springs. They love the thick stuff. Almost like hunting cotton tails back east. They are mostly noctural and will start coming out around dusk to root in the fields. Good shot placement is a must. Their vitals are tucked in down low compared to other animals.
