    Default lets talk about whetstones

    http://www.sharpeningsupplies.com/Na...4-P511C97.aspx

Would this be a good set to buy? Should I add on the 12000 grit stone I want to practice on my knives at home before I buy one of those dylan farnham razors

Currently I am using a oilstone and its ok but I really want to use a whetstone and get a razor edge on all my stuff

Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to Fight, he'll just kill you.

That seems to be a good deal. I have similar cobled together setup. But my go to is a Gatco guided style quick sharpener. I'v had it for 20 years and still marvel at its genius. Lansky has a similar one.

    I bought this one - http://www.sharpeningsupplies.com/Ul...-P320C100.aspx

    I'm happy with it

I want bigger stones and stuff for hatchets, axes and other tools.
