Both courses have added additional throwers at each stand and now both 12 station courses have at least 3 throwers per stand.
Went out this morning and I have never seen so many people of the sporting clays ranges. There was a 30 second wait at every stand. There were probably 50 shooters out this morning. Most were on range 1. No wait on range 2.
Thank you for the detailed information, I need to get there someday as it isn't very far from my house.

For for off match shoots anytime, the 20+ years i was a member, they were never open to members . They do a nice gen public shoot. Just wish they allow us members to use the one area during the week.

IF only there were a few forum members now seated on the WCFW board.

Colorado Rifle Club has a Sporting Clays area. Their stations are not specifically to mimic any specific bird species in most cases (set up as more this looks fun lets try this) and I prefer to think of it as clay pigeon golf. The range always has the same core groups of regular shooters and the occasional new group. I would not know how it compares to other locations either favorably of unfavorably. None of the traps are automated but I have a fun time with it once a month. The range although one of the better money makers for the club is an almost an austere afterthought. Here are example videos of some of the stations.......

Sorry about the post whoring to follow, but the software on this website only allows for 3 videos per post.
