    Semper Gumby, Yup. However, I'm wanting to have the basics on the ensemble ready and pre-positioned. I am sure whatever situation it is, time is of the essence, because you will have to deal with other parts of your situation (returning fire, repelling boarders, getting ready to leave, etc).

    The most time I can save by having something ready to go, and keep the situation-specific items ready to add to the gear off and within reach will allow me to concentrate on other perhaps non-defensive aspects of my situation.
