Price at Champions better but Midway has their coupons.

I ran the Target over the Magnetospeed. Both the savage and the 40X gave the same speed, 1044 fps. SD in both was 9.

I'm now convinced the BC must be 0.15 like all the other Eley.

BTW, I also learned that two layers of Kevlar from an old vest are not enough to stop a .22. I have another nice family of holes in my shop wall to prove it, along with some Kevlar panels that now resemble Swiss cheese.

And it is rated at 1085 fps? I know differences between actual velocity and published can vary significantly, but that seems a little high. Interesting you are getting the same numbers out of the Savage and your 40X Barrel length the same?

Yup, the published velocity in my ballistics program is 1085. Of course, that's the source of the faulty BC so I'm not sure how surprising it is.

The 40X is 27", the Savage is 20", I think. I was very surprised that they gave such similar numbers.

I had found the same info on the Eley Target .105 vs .150 with the rest, but looking at them side by side I can't see where the difference could possibly come from and found that with the 4 boxes of Target I shot before completely switching over to edge yielded .150 BC on the dope data. I've changed that bc in my notes now should I have to switch back at some point due to availability issues, but for the foreseeable future I'll just be shooting Edge as my rifle likes it better.
