Default Continuing the garden theme my indoor/ balcony garden start

Had a couple requests for pictures of my indoor gardening set up and with the cold night I brought my big tomatoes inside so I decided to snap some pictures I have 3 lights going right now one 250 watt HID in a tent with patio tomatoes and small peppers in it. a 110 watt Pll Cfl with more peppers and dukes and a 65 watt seed starting light with lettuce seedlings. The plan is full hydro with the tent and a passive hydro balcony setup.

How hard / how much do I have to spend to start something like this? Not looking to go full nuts on day 1, just getting my feet wet.
This is the first year I'm doing any garden work... I figure I have another weekend or two before I have my raised beds ready and am ready to start putting some of the first things in the ground. Should I be starting plants indoors now then? Tomatoes, peppers, herbs, etc.

Looks like a shelf, some sort of grow light, and some trays. Doesn't sound like a lot invested, but it always seems to add up once I start buying stuff.

    Subi turbo.

Brian you could invest 50 bucks in lights and give your seedlings a head start and be way ahead of the game

Can I plant tomatoes, peppers, and pickling cucumbers in the same area as far as light?
