Thrift stores or Friends of the Library groups may have a book sale that they collect for. Example: Aurora's Friends of the Library store is located at NW corner of Peoria and Iliff.

My wife knows of several libraries that take them. They have periodic book sales to raise money and sell the used books.

You guys are right- I forgot about library book sales!
I know libraries won't accept books to go on the shelves, and some libraries have no room to store donated books. It's best to call and confirm first.

sometimes the public library won't admit to accepting them, so you gotta "baby in a basket" ditch them at their doorstep.
