The red grips are made by CZ.

The easiest and cheapest improvements to the trigger are a good polish job and springs. Changing the trigger return spring as well as the hammer or "mainspring" can work wonders.

if you want to change the pull length and reset there is a short reset disconnector you can get for relatively cheap as well.

Check out Cajun GunWorks, great place for parts and outstanding customer service.

Going to be ordering a bunch of trigger upgrades from CGW. I have a P 07 polymer. Fun and accurate little gun.

Great looking pistol. The more I get to play with the CZs, the more I like them. They are just damn fine guns in my opinion. Just wish more were available and not so hard to get!

Another good place that I have used for parts is CZCustom
I have bought a few things from them and have had great experiences every time
Besides they have goodies for my P-01, which is not as popular as it should be but that is my opinion

I've never shot one before, but the P-01 is the nicest feeling pistol in my hand.

Mine feels great and shoots great, too. I haven't held anything that feels as good.

    Thank you for this review.
Just on our last gun show my husband and I had a chance to hold this gun and we were really impressed.
So much that he actually said he might prefer this over the HK P7 he had in mind for CCW. The P7 was his favorite so that is saying a lot.

Myself, the ergo felt absolutely great in my hands ( and it does not look ugly like the P7 - just my subjective opinion ).

I am fond of CZ's because I have a CZ 97B with Cajun Works hammer, hammer spring, extended firing pin, trigger return spring, floating trigger pin, firing pin block pin, and single action only trigger. The pull is only about 3.5 lb and very clean.

It is a pleasure to shoot! I may be somewhat biased because .45 is my favorite caliber, but still, when the gun makes you want to keep shooting there is something to be said about its form and function.

I have my eyes opened to get a Shadow.
I also favor steel guns over polymer. Even though I shoot well with an HK USP 9 compact.

Just something about the solidity of steel in one's hands.

If you get one you wont want to put it down!

I dry fire all the time now because I love handling this gun!
