    Default North Range 5/24/09

    Took the family shooting Sunday. No one was there, I was surprised.
    We all went planning on packing out extra junk. Brought a few boxes and heavy trash bags.
    When we got there we saw 5 target stands with targets, a political lawn sign, some kind of sheet metal box all shot up, and alot of trash. I was somewhat disappointed that there was so much stuff left behind.

    After a few hours of plinking, it started to sprinkle. Then the really disappointing part. We started packing up just in case. By the time we were all packed it was pouring!
    Sorry to say by the time we made it to the truck it was raining too hard and we were already soaked- not able to take more out than what we brought.
    I wonder who I could contact- it would be nice if they removed the big berm at the entrance- leave the boulders to keep vehicle out- but arrange for the boulders to be moved on occasion the allow a truck to go in for a good cleaning from time to time...

    Anyone know who I might call about that?

    Anyone up for a weekend clean-up?

    I was actually planning on heading up Sunday, but the Rain was way to iffy to make the 1 hour trip. Sounds like there was more crap than last time I was there.
    Assault is a type of behavior, not a type of hardware.

    Me too, was going to go, then wasn't, glad I didn't due to the weather. Yes, it would be nice to get in with the truck and "load it up" with junk. Last time I couldn't haul much in mommas city jeep, but did take some items.

    It will be a few weeks yet before I can make a trip up there... but plan to in the near future and help clean. kc.

    I was up 2 weekends ago. only 1 person there for the 2 hours I was there.
    Looked pretty clean at the time, other then a bunch of melons someone left behind.
    I will try to make it up this weekend but cant commit to a specific day.
