ups store box costs $144/year they sign for it and hold it in the back until I pick it up in person.

You have the shipper do a signature required, delivery. This eliminates the stolen package problem.

I see tons of signature required packages left at doors weekly (sometimes the correct door). usually a lazy worker, fedex, dhl, ups, usps have all done it.
