Default Sure is quiet in here.

I'm waiting for my smith to finish re barreling my 40X. It's getting a Lilja. He's had it for more than a decade, or at least that's how it feels. He's waiting on a part from Pacific Tool, and they are about as slow as can be.

I bought two sets of viper skins, one for my .260 and another for the 40X. I really like them on the .260, but I haven't had a chance to mount them yet on the 40X. I can't wait to go shoot it at the OTC.

I know exactly how you feel. I'm waiting for my 6mm wildcat upper.

The lack of rimfire ammo almost makes me wish I had bought a .22Cooper when they were available.

I'm waiting on one of those Ruger American's in 22mag. Last time i picked up 500 rds of 22mag it was running $2.50 per, if you purchased 10 boxes.

I had my new Anschutz 2018 out yesterday.

Yanked off the factory barrel and screwed on a really long Benchmark 2 groove, then added a Bee-Sting bloop tube with a tuner and rimfire suppressor.

Put 15-20 rounds on one ragged hole at 50 yards outdoors with a random box of Eley. SK Match was good, but not as consistent. As soon as Warner Tool Company sends me my rear sight, I will start training at the Olympic Training Center again. Coat and sling shooting.

Post a pic of that thing here or in the .22 pic thread. It turned out fairly cool.

    It appears to shoot OK...

My smith just called and the widget he needed to complete my 40X finally arrived. I should have it by the weekend. I can't wait to get my favorite rifle back.

I miss coat-and-sling shooting. Would love to shoot at OTC but it conflicts with my Scout meetings.
