    Default P-Dogs Yesterday

Managed to take a day off & headed east of CS with a friend to shoot P-dogs.
Couldn't believe how much ground cover had grown since we were there 5 weeks ago; made it difficult to spot the little bastages, but we were able to get 57 confirmed kills from 50-550 yds. Longest shots of the day were in the order of 650 yds. with near-misses & possible indirect causalities.

We shot prone all day, which was tough due to the ground cover being so tall; next time we will take a couple of tables. Long day on your belly & stiff necks from all the bino work; not complaining though.

Nice. What were you using to hit them that far out?
Crawled out from under my rock.

Savage 223 shooting 40gr NBT & V-max & 50gr Barnes VG ; wind calls were a little tough with the lighter pills. My buddy was shooting his Ruger 22-250 using 55gr NBT
