    Default Anybody hunt 6/16/17/161/171

    Looking for some advice to harvest a cow elk 2nd rifle season on opening day in any of the GMUs. I will be hunting alone. Thanks

    Good luck.

    Not a big harvest rate up there. Lots of pressure unless you get WAY off the beaten path and/or run Johnny Moore on horseback.

    But I keep going back with friends.

    I have never hunted there, these are the Walden units right? I have heard that areas near Rand are supposed to be good.
