    My buddy runs this one:

Runs an SD card and just loops over itself once the SD is filled.

That's a bit more in my budget. Does he like it?

I got pulled over when driving out to MO for work. Didn't search the car, my moms friend was hitching a ride back home with me and said they are pulling a lot of people over with CO plates. Officer was pretty cool asked why I was driving through and then told him I would be running back and forth to visit my then pregnant wife and class. Didn't get pulled over again and I drove back at least 5 or 6 times.

I just popped for three of these and some SD cards. Trust, but verify.

I made it to KC and back, going through Kansas on the trip and Nebraska on the way back without issue. And they had all the cause in the world to pull me over, I habitually drive 5 under the limit. Sucks that the kid got harassed based on his license plates.

why not a dash cam? I've talked with two DPD officers in the last couple of days that had cam's on their person. (shoulder) Interesting.
Sometimes people trip and fall down stairs.
Sometimes assholes push people down stairs.
That doesn't mean "stairs are bad" nor does it make someone who pushes someone down the stairs any less of an asshole.

Ya the last time I talked to him about it, he had no complaints. I saw a video from it and it was pretty good. Comparable to any police cam I've seen. I'll ask him tomorrow if he's had any issues now that he's had it for a while.

Interesting stuff gents, thanks. My friend's son was raised to be respectful to everyone but especially leo (uncle on his mother's side is a deputy in North Dakota). From what my friend said his son was mostly shocked while the encounter was going on, couldn't believe it was really happening. He said he consented as he knew he didn't have anything in the car to be worried about. This is the kind of young man everyone always comments on what a nice, polite guy he is. According to my friend his son has been stopped twice in the past when they lived in Minnesota but never ticketed.

Who knows, it was just a weird experience.
