    Just had our differential guy look at your pics. He agrees, looks decent with a good pattern. Run it, check the noise level.
    If a new ring and pinion keep the load light for the first couple hundred miles, give things a chance to burnish in.

    tires and gas are the only thing my Chevy ever needs replaced!

    Thanks Burt ! That gives me a real piece of mind guess I just need to finish locktighting stuff and button it up and get back together. The I will try to keep it easy for the first couple miles as there used gears. Tell the diff guy thanks and Kick Brad in the teeth for me. Just kidding kind of about Brad.

    As long as it isn't another muffler bearing. Took a left handed 3mm torx to get thing out.
