The Green Mill Sportsmans Club in Erie is open to the public for Hunter Sight In Days DAILY form 0800 until 1700. 30 Aug thru 2 November, 2014
$ 10 per gun/shooter Range Officers on duty Targets & Spotting Scopes furnished.
25 yard pistol range, 25/50/100/200 Yard rifle range

NO Full Auto and NO 50 BMG (sorry) CASH ONLY - NO Checks !

Covered firing line, sturdy benches, sandbags, EYE & EAR Protection required - Available at the Range.

Take Erie Parkway to Bonanza ( by Fire station ) go south to range road on the left (east)

From I-25 take Exit 232 and go West to Bonanza and south.

Is this a true hunter sight-in day or is it a bring-whatever-firearm-you-want-and-shoot-as-much-as-you-want-for$10/day month?

Can't speak for what's going on today but in the past it has been a true hunters sight in. In the past "non-sporting" rifles were not allowed. Not sure what would happen if you showed up with an AR in a hunting caliber.
It's usually very busy, but it is a nice facility.

I am a member here and you are just fine bringing an AR style rifle. It is a sight-in only not a come in, pay and shoot session.

There will be members there to help.
