Default Remington SPS .308 Tactical 26" Fluted Barrel Muzzle Brake

Would welcome recommendations for the best threaded muzzle break for this rifle, including thread compatibility (3/4" - 28, 5/8" - 28, etc.).

    Thanks!

Shoot a PM to skullybones on the forum. He makes great brakes and is a nice guy. I have a 6.5mm brake for a bolt gun getting finished up now. 5/8-24 is the standard thread for that size.

Yup, your thread sizes are a smidge odd.
As noted previously 5/8 x 24 TPI is prevalent in 30 caliber.
I just happen to know somebody that can thread it correctly.

Brandon, I have a couple of skullybones comps.. even asked him for wholesale account at one point. Back then, he just got started and didn't have wholesale/map agreements. You should carry his comps in your online store.

If you're on a budget and ever do plan on getting a "can".. try getting one of those muzzle brakes that go with a "can" that you'd be interested in getting some time in the future. There are a handful of'em out there.. AAC would probably be one of those that should be on the bottom of that list muzzle brake QD thingy's though.
