The range at the firing line is a JOKE. Some of the employees are assholes. A lot of the people that shoot at that range are knuckle draggers. I am shocked there are not weekly shootings there.

I do however shoot there almost every other month. It's close and convenient. I have bought fire arms there luckly the guy I got both times was humble and decent. I don't mind the range but I hate the people. I shoot at least once a month and we go to Monument it seems like every other month so I try to shoot there when we go.

I've been a member going on a couple of years. Member's range is considerably better and they recent refurbished both the Member's and Public shooting areas. Lighting and ventilation is considerably better than it was previously. Public range before the refurb was light shooting in low light.

It is convenient to where I work in Englewood and the ammo prices aren't crazy like they are at Cherry Creek State Park. I've had no issues other than them trying to double or triple up shooters on a single lane when I've brought guests with me. Didn't come to the range to stand around and watch someone else shoot.

I hear Prairie Arms (C470 and Santa Fe) is opening up an indoor range after the first of the year. Not sure what the size will be, but heard eight lanes/pistol and rimfire only.

I had heard of all these negative comments regarding Firing Line, but I've been going there over for a couple three months and found them to be nothing but helpful, friendly, and courteous.

The Range itself is not bad. Better than any other alternatives. A little dark, but thats my only complaint.

The last time I went they quadrupled up on our lane. We asked if we could have two lanes and were told "no not when its busy". Can you imagine if you walked in there with 6 or 8 or 10 people and all of you have to shoot on one lane? Once again, this place is a joke.

My brother and father in law live very close to a national forest... I can't recall the name of it but there is a mountain that has a shooting range on the top of it. The next time I talk to them I will find out the name and get some directions.
