Places in Mountains to shoot

Ok, this is a common question of course but we are relocating from Georgia and have bought a house in Bailey. I'm looking for a place I can take my kids to shoot their 22's safely and that I can shoot up to a 7 mag myself. We were very spoiled in Georgia because there are ranges everywhere and we were part of a 1300 acre hunt club that we used year round for hunting everything from squirrel to pig, deer and ducks. And we also had a nice range as well so long story short, until I figure out the hunting regs I would like to continue our shooting excursions. So if you know of a nice range or area I could safely take my kids please pass along the info.
