Looking for the glock heads on here!

Hey guys, so I've got a Gen 3 glock 23 and a Gen 4 Glock 35. I'm just now finally starting to upgrade and mess with both of them. I recently stippled them both and I dremmeled the trigger guard as well which I love. Now that I've done that I want to start actually changing out some parts and what not. My question to all of you is, what have your experiences been with some of the companies that make upgraded parts for glocks? I've mainly been looking into Zev a lot and I love their products, I just don't have any experience with any of them. I'm wanting to get a magwell, trigger, and replace the slide internals on both my guns. I'm also wanting to get a new slide for the 35 that has the milling for an RMR. Thanks for the help guys! Curious, what exactly do you mean when you say that you "dremmeled the trigger guard". Post pics?

ETA: I use factory night sights on mine. I like them slightly better than standard factory sights during the day, and they are plenty bright at night. The night sights and the lighter connector (along with some light polishing on the connector surfaces) are the only mods to my glocks.

What do you mean you "dremmeled the trigger guard"?

I've had good success in my range toy using a Ghost connector and replacement springs, some light polishing on contact surfaces.

I think he's referring to either the undercut or the index cut.




The only thing I do to my glocks are extended mag release, because i have small hands (ok let the jokes come!). Other than that I just polish the internals, or replace the serrated trigger for a smooth faced trigger.

He means he undercut the trigger guard to allow for a higher grip (I think).

OP: I wanted to drop in a good aftermarket trigger when I got my 19, and then I decided I'd try it myself first and if I didn't like it then I'd go by one. I installed a Glock "minus" connector and then polished all of the contract points of all the trigger components with 1000 grit, 1500, 2000, and then Flitz polish with a dremmel and buffer wheel, and it feels great. I like it enough that I dint think it's worth spending the money on an aftermarket one.
Point is, give it a shot before you spend your money.

Just a personal preference, but the only part I always swap on Glock pistols is I install the trapezoid slide lock from brassstacker.com

Polishing internals is something I will get around to eventually, but they shoot pretty well stock for me. I may dremmel the trigger guard on my 22 and the beaver tail on my 27. If I shoot a lot at one time, without wearing gloves, they do leave red marks on my hands.

Take a factory glock 3.5 trigger connector and lightly polish it and it will be as good as any but still more reliable. Other then that I wouldn't change anything. I polish the connector and trigger bar. I use a light grease lube like sigs do for all those parts as we'll.

What are your goals and what do you want to accomplish with the "upgrades"? Unless you are a top lever competitor you don't "need" to do much. On my Glocks I usually change the connector, install the Vickers mag and slide releases and change the sights.
