I'm thinking of getting a .22WMR rifle, inexpensive cuz I'm broke and won't use it a lot. Would like to stay under $300.
Mainly for varmint shooting, not target. Anyone have any experience with any of the following?
- Marlin XT-22MVSR ProFire 22 WMR Rifle 22" - fits my budget, not sure of the "new" Marlin QA on their rifles though?
- CZ 512 semi-auto - outside of my budget but I like the idea of a semi-auto!
- Ruger American - don't know much about these...
Any other options out there I should consider? Perhaps I should be looking for a used CZ 455?
I'd like to stay with .22WMR cuz I have other firearms in that caliber, don't want to add a new one if I can help it, unless it comes with a ton of ammo!
