Good point. The .380 was the one I shot. I couldn't hit anything with my Kel-Tec PF9 either, for full disclosure. The Bersa had a much better trigger.

Have you ever shot a Bersa before? I couldn't hit anything with the one I shot, but it's not like I had a ton of experience at the time.

yeah ive shot one before. theyre fine. im not as good of a shot as I am with a 1911, but that goes for basically any pistol and me.

At those prices, I'd recommend going with a CZ 83 myself. Nicer finish and better workmanship for the same basic form factor.

While the bersa is a nice hand gun. Best bang for the buck & resale would be a CZ. Unless you could locate a beretta 84BB, for their old selling price.

Several on Armslist yesterday for $275 to $320 used and new. Local area. Obviously some at much higher price. Might be worth a look.

I got lucky with mine. We used to have a member here that was a home-based FFL and dealer up in Westminster. He mentioned one day he had a brand new Thunder .380 for $230, I broke every traffic law in the books getting up there to buy it from him! It's sweet, and a pre-lock model too. But this was probably in 2008, ain't gonna find that price now. What's the real killer with those is the cost of extra magazines - OMG are those expensive!

The other is a FEG PA-63 in 9mm Makarov. THAT is one snappy little bastard! Especially with Combloc surplus ball ammo.

Ark Tactical had an all Black Thunder Plus under the counter in the $325 range. Don't know if it was used or new, and it was several weeks ago.
