Maybe not. But he isn't. If gays can be single issue voters what's wrong with someone else being a single issue voter? Either way, he's free to say what he feels is right. He said it and the people in his district elected him. Furthermore, the outspoken LGBT community says and does plenty of things I find offensive...like forcing a business owner to violate his personal moral code to please them. Sorry, but I don't think gays own the high ground here.
