Default An "out of the box" preparedness items list.

Slightly different view of items for preparedness "lists": http://www.prepperfortress.com/55-preparedness-items/

    Snippet:
This list of 55 preparedness items (or categories) purposely avoids some of the preps that you might expect to see and is not intended to be a list of essentials or to be all-inclusive in any way. In fact, the list is intended to get you thinking ‘outside-the-box’ about your own needs for preps – to think of things beyond that of just rice-and-beans, bullets and band-aids.

This is a good list- I hadn't thought about some of the items they had listed on here.

I consider many of the items listed a "must-have" and not "out of the box". Preppers unfortunately are considered by "normal" folks that think out of the box, and that is the norm. Some are "unitaskers" though. Overall, a good list and if you don't have this stuff, you would better you situation to have some extra of it.

I'm scared to read any list of additional items. Don't I have enough crap already!?!

Kidding of course, but I know you guys are thinking of it too, when you look at your stash.

I can't locate ours, it's buried under other crap. We do have full tanks of gas in all our vehicles, guns in reach with multiple mags, flashlights AND Clean underwear.

    This is very valuable.

in all seriousness, that list is right up my alley. There were only a few things on there that i don't have at home. Mrs. HB thinks I'm weird for having so much TP and trash bags in storage...

I waited a day to decide if I was just being mean. Ive read the article 3 times.

The author is not prepared. He just wants to sit on a mountain of stuff and think "I'm fine, look at all this stuff"

Several of the statements made make me face palm
