Default Just a fun thing on "just how long"

so I know some have done tests on how long after expiration dates but I have a new one.

Coke in glass bottles. The wife opened a bottle that was made in 1999. 15 years later we have a few. A little off but still useable. just a thought.

I'm guessing that's due to the glass bottle. If it were plastic, I'd expect much worse results...

I would expect a plastic bottle to be dead inside of two years.

Interesting! Is that the regular coke, made with HFCS? If so, I bet the cane-sugar stuff would last even longer and not have that 'off' flavor, since sugar is a preservative...

For another point of reference, diet Pepsi & diet Dr Pepper in cans tastes like soda water in about a year.

Probably because all the syrup settled to the bottom. Shake them up, rest them upside down for a few hours, and they should taste normal again.
