Default Pueblo West 600-yard range status?

Does anyone have any new information on the status of Pueblo West's 600-yard range? I know it's been shut down since last year due to some disgruntled member (now former member, I've heard) kvetching about it being unsafe, at least that's the story I've been able to piece together. I shot at it a few times last summer with my old '06, the farthest I've ever fired, and I was surprised that the come ups on my trajectory chart actually got me on target right away; now I'm hooked on shooting (relatively) long range and I'd like to do more of it, but as it stands now, I can't, at least not at PWSA.

Thanks, Hoser. Let's hope it gets approved sometime this summer.

Any news on Pueblo County approving the special permit?

I think I'll request that a one-line update on the status be placed in the PWSA monthly newsletter each month; I'm guessing I should send it to Bob Lerch, the secretary.

The SUP was approved at the 18 November meeting at the Pueblo County Courthouse.

We have some dirt work to be done on the North West end of the 600 before we can start using it again.

All this and more was discussed at length at the monthly meeting last night. First Tuesday night every month.

It has also been discussed at every monthly meeting since the whole deal started.

Notification of the SUP approval will be included in the next newsletter.

    Great, thanks!

I used to make the meetings on occasion a long while back, but I work evenings now so I am unable to go. That's why I would like an update in the newsletter. 'Twas in no way a criticism of PWSA.
