    Default Glock 26 frame/grip mods

Although I've been dubbed a Glock hooker, I have a G26 that I don't plan on parting with anytime soon, because of this I've decided to modify it to my liking.

So far I've done an extended mag release cut down to a reasonable length and stippled and notched out around the release to provide for a more positive activation. I've also done an undercut of the trigger guard, which has proven to make a huge difference on grip purchase.

I'm contemplating a full grip stipple, but haven't decided to pull the trigger yet. I've successfully done a very fine yet aggressive texture on a previous Glock, but I'm leaning more towards a larger "scale" type texture.

    Mods thus far:

I was looking at my M&P the other day wishing I could do an undercut.

You should be able to fairly easily. I used a dremel, 220 grit sandpaper, and some boot polish. Mason did a good job on his Glock.

Here is my previous stipple job:

This is the pattern I'd like to do on this one, I just don't think I have a tip that would accomplish it:

The M&P is already recessed and there isn't much more room to spare.

I'mma undercut the TG on my 26 now.

For your stipple pattern take a nail or anything that shape and grind it to suit your pattern and stuff it in the iron. Hell you can probably make a rounded flat shape out of a coat hanger. Or... If you have extra tips for your iron make a tip out of one of them.

You can also get brass screws with the same thread pattern as your current tip and grind the head into whatever shape you'd like to stipple with. Custom stippling at its finest!

Irving, there isn't a TON of room but there's enough to work with. Lots of folks are doing it to M&Ps.

That's what I was thinking, but didn't want to speak on a topic I don't have experience in.
