    Default STI 1911

    Never really paid much attention to STI pistols as I mostly saw them as Open guns and not carry guns, but that's all changed now. I want to know if any of you have practical experience with STI as a company and how their non Comp guns compare to traditional manufacturers (Colt, S.A., Remington etc.) I'm specifically interested in their VIP model in 9mm Double Stack configuration.

    I have several STIs in various flavors. Excellent stuff. My carry gun is a lightweight officer/commander in 38 Super.

    Beautiful! I've never shot a .38 Super. Maybe one day.
