Don't take this the wrong way, but try harder. I had a Keltec PF9 and that thing was so tight it was difficult to rack the slide as it was. The first time I put a snap cap in there I experienced the same thing and thought Ihad broken something. I never shot the gun enough to really break it in, but it did become easier to manipulate with snap caps, but not much. Good luck.
