They are a newer shop and not related in anyway to the shops that used to be in town. They have a great selection of powder, new and used firearms and ammo. No cheap 22s though. Very friendly with great customer service. If your out that way stop in for a look. You will surprised that a small town like Salida would have such a nice shop. They are located 2/10 of a mile from Walmart.

I used to get out that way at least once a year for work, really enjoy BV and Salida, may have to take a trip and visit the shop.

American Hunting and Firearms Service aka Salida Gun Shop on the web just moved about 600 yds down the road to a bigger building and a soon to be indoor range. Really nice selection of guns and ammo. Usually have 22LR and ARs in stock. One thing I like the shop is they have never gouged. When ARs and 22LR ammo were being sold elsewhere for stupid prices they still sold the items for normal cost.
