I've run CCI blazer bulk and CCI mini-mags through it without problems. Can't say with other brands since all I use is CCI stuff but I'd say over all you're probably fine with quality ammo. Like a lot of .22 handguns it will malfunction if it gets really dirty. It also doesn't like if you limp wrist it or put too much pressure on the slide with your non firing hand.
