Default Glock Gen 4 grip panels

OK, maybe I'm a complete moron but is there actually any way to get the f'king gen 4 grip panels frame pin through them successfully? I'm trying to put a medium beavertail panel on my Glock 19 and am getting utterly frustrated with this incompetent design Glock foisted on the gen 4.

Be gentle with it. Like many of the finer things in life, it goes in a lot easier when you're gentle and deliberate with it.

If you mess them up somehow I have extras.

Is throwing them onto the nearest bonfire considered "not gentle"?

All of them I've installed have been a pain. Have to squeeze pretty hard to get the hole to line up. It'll go with a little encouragement.

Operator error.....? I've never had an issue, squeeze the panel/grip, push the pin in.

Well, I won't discount operator error, but the fooking pin seems to be just a bit less stiff than needed to actually get it inserted.

    Yah, TWSS.
